MXR Timmy Vs BOSS Blues Driver: Versus series
In this episode, we'll be comparing the MXR Timmy and the Boss Bd-2 Blues Driver. We'll be checking out the low gain, medium gain and both pedals with the gain maxed out. We'll compare their tone, level and gain controls as well.

The pedals are going through a Vox AC15c1, set clean. The master volume is cranked and the Normal channel volume is a 9 o'clock. The amp is mic'd with a Shure SM57, set off axis. The BD-2 is running on standard 9V batteries and the Timmy is powered by a power supply. How close do they get, or how different are they from one another? Let me know in the comments!
