Etude op. 25 no. 2 "The Bees" - Frederic Chopin

Описание к видео Etude op. 25 no. 2 "The Bees" - Frederic Chopin

A study in finger dexterity and polyrhythms. What I found the most difficult part of this etude was definitely being relaxed while playing. It's quite easy to build up tension and make the last part sound rugged. This is also one of Chopins easier etude, which says a lot about the difficulty of his etudes. Chopin didn't name his pieces, and the title "The Bees" only came much later, because it's reminiscence to the buzzing of the bumblebees. It's also often compared to Rachmaninoffs arrangement of "The Flight of the Bumblebee" by Rimsky-Korsakov for this reason.
