I've been having an issue with the raptor 250 smoking immediately after starting. The smoking only last for about 1 to 2 minutes. After that, there is no more smoking. If the smoking is consistent, the problem is usually rings. However, since mine only last for about one minute, I'm assuming the valve seals need replaced. That's exactly what we're going to do.
