Singer Songwriter Charley Crockett is such an authentic artist. He has lived one hell of a life to write about at 39 years old, so maybe thats how he has written & released 15 albums of songs which he tours around the globe performing. It wasn't always the 'big stage' for Charley, he was homeless for many years and busking on the streets to survive, not to mention he also was a marijuana farmer who spent some time in Jail. Hailing from a small poor city in South Texas provided little opportunity, but Charley always had one constant in his life... and that was music. Even the music of Bill Withers, which when Charley found out that Bill had recorded his amazing debut album "Just As I Am" here at Sunset Sound, he knew that he wanted to record an album there too.
