This is a documentary on Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philly is home to some vibrant beautiful areas however, it's also home to some of the worst crime and poverty in America. Known as one of the "poorest" largest cities in the US, it has a poverty rate of over 23%, and a violent crime rate of over 182% the National Average. Homelessness is a major issue especially in the Kensington Avenue area which we will take a look at. Median household income is around 49k, and unemployment rate is 5.4%. Although there are an enormous amount of amenities in Philly, affording it may be a whole other problem. Rent rates are extremely high in most places, and home ownership is low.
