Congress vice President Rahul Gandhi on Friday called Ordinance on convicted Mps and MLAs as utter nonsense.

Addressing a press conference in Press Club of India, Rahul Gandhi said that what UPA government has done is completely wrong.

Rejecting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh decision to save convicted MPS and MLAs through an Ordinance, Rahul said that Ordinance should be torn away.

"What our Government has done is completely wrong. This Ordinance should torn away and threw away," Rahul said.

He further said that it is time for political parties to stop making compromises.

However, Rahul said he personally against this move.
