Preview Early CSX Changing Times on the West End

This is the preview for our Heritage Series DVD "Early CSX: Changing Times On The West End."

This program was shot between 1985 and 1991, and looks at CSX's two lines into East St. Louis: the former Louisville & Nashville through Evansville, Indiana, and the Baltimore & Ohio line through Terre Haute.

The L&N line is seen before through trains were moved onto the B&O. After looking at the L&N, we look at action on the B&O.

Locomotives in many paint schemes are seen, including Chessie System, Seaboard System, Family Lines, Louisville & Nashville, Seaboard Coast Line, Chesapeake & Ohio, Baltimore & Ohio and CSX's first three paint schemes.

Cabooses are seen in several of the older scenes, and the trains are loaded with cars from lines that are fallen flags today.

The DVD runs 1 hour and 45 minutes.
