Welcome to the world famous apo reef in the philippines, a true under water diving paradise.

Apo reef is one of the most iconic diving areas in the Philippines. The journey to the apo reef jump off point is pretty straightforward , you can fly into puerto galera or you can travel by land and boat to mindoro. once you arrive in mindoro you will need to get a bus or minivan for around 100 - 200 pesos to Sablayan.

Apo reef tours start from around 8500 pesos which is the cheapest of the time of this vlog from gustavs place. From sablayan you will board the boat and head to apo reef, the boat journey will take around 3 hours and you will see dolphins if you are lucky.

Once you arrive in apo reef national park your dive master will take you to various dive sites, i believe there is around 20+ all offering different things.

The coral on some of these sites is so alive and colourful with so many fish, it was like being in a aquarium. This was our first premium dive in the philippines and although it may be considered expensive, we felt it was worth every penny and this will be the diving day that we will compare everything else to.
