In this video, I'll talk about how I went from a PhD student dreaming of becoming a geologist to making over ₹1 lakh a month.

When the pandemic hit, I had to stop my studies and help my family. I tried really hard to find a job, but no luck. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I was always good at writing and during the pandemic, I learned about making websites without needing to code. I mixed these two skills together and started offering to write for website development companies for free. Out of 10 companies I reached out to, 1 hired me and paid me ₹60K a month. Then, I thought, why not do more of this? I learned about eCommerce and started offering my services to different brands and marketing agencies. Soon, I was making ₹1.2 lakh a month from 4 clients. This experience taught me two important things: starting a service business is a great idea when you have little to no money to start, and combining your skills with the right industry is key.

We'll also dive into how to pick your niche, which is really just finding what you love and are good at, then figuring out who needs those skills. I'll show you how to narrow down your options and make sure you're aiming for a growing market. We'll explore how to understand the problems your chosen market faces and how you can solve them.

Lastly, if I had to start over, I'd jump into sales, especially high-ticket coaching. Sales is a powerful skill because it directly ties your efforts to your earnings. I'll share my own journey of making commissions by selling products and how mastering sales can truly change your financial life.

This lesson is all about taking control, finding your niche, and using your unique skills to build a successful service business. Plus, the power of sales as the one skill that can really make a difference.
