The owner builder renovation is almost over! In this Episode l go over the process of building the front deck. The end result was fantastic and was well worth the effort and expense. I used treated pine for the sub floor and Tonka (a South American Hardwood) for the fascia boards, deck posts and the decking boards. The two major reasons for using Tonka for the deck was that it's very attractive to look at and it is the only Hardwood that doesn't leach!
