One of my all time favorite things about Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie. This year I decided to share my love of this delicious treat with my Pocket American Bully puppy Chester, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier Ruby. Only dog friendly.

These easy homemade pumpkin pie treats are not only safe for dogs to eat, but they are somewhat healthy. Pumpkin is a great source of fibre as well as vitamins and minerals that can boost your dogs nutrition. Not to mention it is great for their digestion.

Ingredients:
✔ 1 cup whole grain whole wheat flour (almond or coconut flour also works)
✔ 3 tbsp organic, creamy (unsalted) peanut butter
✔ 1/2 cup water
✔ 1 large egg
✔ 1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
✔ Plain Greek Yogurt
✔ Virgin Coconut Oil

Recipe

Preheat oven to 350° F.
Combine flour, peanut butter, water, and large egg in a bowl.
Mix well with spatula or whisk to form a ball of dough.
Roll dough to 1/8" thickness
Use mason jar lid to make pie crust
Add crust to muffin tin
Add pumpkin puree with spoon into each crust.
Bake 18-22 minutes or until the puree begins to turn a golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool completely.
Mix equal parts greek yogurt and peanut butter
Add frosty to cake pipe, decorate, top with Bocce treat
Serve your homemade pumpkin pie treats to your dogs
