Last week it was Godsmack, this week it's Life of Agony. March seems to be nostalgia month when it comes to my releases lol. I love Life of Agony and I love Keith's lower voice. River Runs Red is one of those albums that was on repeat in my room when I was a kid and somehow, I never felt like covering one of their songs. It always felt like songs like This Time and Underground were written in drop A or whatever, but it's only standard D...
So, what's with the weird chord, every single time Keith is about to go "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YEAH"? Not only am I hearing both notes on bass, but it also adds to that signature Life of Agony wall of sound. Clearly, the instrumentals in LoA aren't super important since it's all about the vocals/melodies. The band just needs to be as heavy as possible and they are great at it. Shall I do more?
Also, I love how Dwight listens to this song when he's taking Ryan to the "business meeting".
