Original version is from the banned Episode 38 of Pokémon: Indigo League. EPILEPSY WARNING for anyone who decides to watch the episode or a video of those specific scenes.

The banned Pokémon episode "Cyber Soldier Porygon" was known for causing hundreds of seizure cases among children who were watching when it was aired in Japan on December 16, 1997. Around 16 minutes into the episode had scenes with rapidly flashing colored visuals that can induce epileptic seizures among other symptoms to those who are photosensitive.

This episode was banned worldwide as a result. Rapidly flashing scenes in past and future episodes were also edited darker and slower to reduce the risk of seizures.

I made this comparison video because some people believe that the edited version is a real scene from the show, when it is actually just an edit of an existing scene.
