While making this song, it reminded me how much this Anime meant to me. Bleach was one of the first shows that really put Anime on the map for me. It was a show that really got me obsessed with the medium and I'll never forget the moment Ichigo took that sword to the chest from Rukia. GOOD FUCKING TIMES MAN!!!!

Funny story, I played this song back in the day when I was in an anime cover band with my brother and sister. I bullshitted my way rapping the song back then so I knew I had to redeem myself when it came to tackling this song again. I'm actually really surprised at how well I sounded on this track so I really really wanna do more songs with faster rapping/singing. Speaking of vocals, huuuuuuge shout out to my dude Joey who killed it on this song!! This is our first collab together after knowing each other for years! I don't know why it took this long to get my boy on a track hahahaha

In any case, please check out his music as he has grown as a musician over the years and his hard work has really paid off. His newest stuff is INSANE. I hope my boy makes it bigger in the music scene one day cause he got BARS.

In terms of production, I wanted to go for a general progressive house sound with this one since I haven't gone for a more forward approach to house in a while. With my new found love of mixing (volume levels), I've been wanting to approach genres I haven't made in a while since I've learned a lot about making more impactful drops/climaxes.
I'm very proud of a lot of things in the song! Like the intro lead synth. It took me a while to get it down but once it got to where it is now, I knew I hit gold!! Same thing with the Drill section of the song. Oh, speaking of which, I tried making Drill for the first time! I need to make more since I had so much fun making that section! Let me know how I did in the comments!
