About Sikshana Series “Dance Antakshari”

At Sikshana Series, Antakshari gets a new perspective. Instead of Singing Songs, we are bringing you a “Dance Antakshari”. A game show exclusively for Indian classical dance.
In the first round, game is played among the students of the same school. Then the last letter of the dance song is passed to the next school like the regular Antakshari. One kid will be selected from each school to play Round-2 and will be decided by viewers voting.
For Episode 1, We have Arudhra Saai Natyashala from New Jersey, Disciples of Smt. Shobitha Arun to start the game.

A premiere institution of Bharatnatyam in Central New Jersey, dedicated to teaching and propagating the ancient classical dance form of Bharatnatyam from the Kalashetra Bani. Mrs. Shobitha Arun.
The founder comes from a traditional Bharatanatyam dance family of Padma Shri (1989) Guru Adyar K. Lakshman, and daughter and disciple of Natyakala Ranjani and Nadana Manjari, Smt. Nirmala Sainath.
The institution aims mission to provide students of all ages with the skills to enjoy music and dance for a lifetime! Our goal is not just to teach dance for the year-end recital, but to also introduce many skills necessary to become an accomplished and astute learner for years to come.
The institution also encourages the students to take ISO certified grade exams to facilitates a platform for students to excel in the field of fine arts.

She has taken part in competitions like Papanasam sivan , Cleveland dance competition, Natyanjali, Guruvyurappan dance competition and won prizes in many of these events.

Anaina Vineeth is a 10th grade student @ JFK Memorial High School, Iselin, New Jersey.
She has been learning dance since 2014 under guidance of Guru Mrs. Shobitha Arun.
She has participated in various dance competitions in USA like Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival, Papanasam Sivan dance competition & Natyanjali.
She is learning Indian Classical music from the age of 6 and is a member of School & Central New Jersey Choir.
She is also active member of Dance team in her school.
Apart from Art, she has been a member of School Basketball & Track & field team.

Namrita Ramkumar is 15 years old, and she is entering 10th Grade @JP Stevens High School located in Edison, New Jersey.
She Has a great passion for classical dance.
Namrita has been learning dance from Mrs.Shobitha Arun since 2014 at the age of 9.
Her other interests are singing, making music and Art.
