Die beiden Benromach Contrasts Abfüllungen im Jahr 2012 in der Speyside-Destillerie von Gordon & MacPhail destillierten Abfüllungen sind mit 46% abgefüllt und beide rauchig, der Benromach Contasts Kiln Dried ist laut Destillerie aber etwas süßer als der Benromach Contasts Air Dried.

Mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 46 % bieten beide Benromach Contrasts Whiskys jedoch mit unterschiedlichen Geschmacksprofilen.Die erste Variante enthält Eichenholz, das drei Jahre lang an der Luft getrocknet wurde, bevor es getoastet wurde . Das Gegenstück, das im Ofen getrocknet wurde, besteht aus whiskygereifter Eiche, die zwei Jahre lang an der Luft getrocknet wurde und dann in einen Ofen kam, um den Trocknungsprozess zu beschleunigen.
