Demolition Man and Dystopian Literature

Описание к видео Demolition Man and Dystopian Literature

Demolition Man deserves a place alongside the literary dystopian fiction of the 20th Century. While lacking the grittiness of 1984 or the deep look at its society of Brave New World, it nevertheless manages to capture the shared themes of those works and others, and in so doing show us some of the mechanisms of tyranny in our own world.

I also want to welcome all the new subscribers that found the channel through the Cyberpunk video. There’s more in that vein on the way.
