A tale of walnut, pocket holes, and finger joints! This entryway table is actually the biggest piece of wooden furniture we’ve built on our own, and we are super proud of it! We made it in walnut and love the modern design. Our entry was in need of an upgrade: we had a too-small table from our old apartment and we couldn’t wait to build a new piece of furniture. This was actually a relatively easy build and since we designed it to all be done using dimensional lumber, it’s pretty simple for a beginner. If box joints are intimidating, you could use pocket holes to secure the legs together. You could also turn this table design into a bench, desk, or dining table just by changing a couple dimensions. This table could also be great as-is behind a couch instead of in an entryway. Super flexible design!
