Sawmill Success: How Wood Boards Powered Our Growth | Evergreen Valley Farm | FS 22 | Timelapse #07

Welcome back to the Evergreen Valley Farm Timelapse. We begin by finishing the task of packing straw into bales and delivering them to our biogas plant for processing. With that done, we assign a hired worker to mulch the field after the barley harvest while we head over to the sawmill. There, we load long boards onto a platform and transport them to construction site for sale, giving our finances a solid boost. Next, we visit our new production facility, where our soya milk production line is in full swing. We load up the pallets of finished products and deliver them to the city for sale. The substantial profits from these operations allow us to make key investments in land with trees and oats, as well as a coal-fired power plant. Back on the farm, we finish mulching the fields and fertilize them using digestate from the biogas plant, produced from the processed straw.
