The F8F-1 is a Rank III BR 5.0 fighter with excellent flight performance but rather subpar guns, making it a great rat plane. The flight performance will give you many opportunities to take good shots, but it may take a couple passes to dispatch an enemy.

You can take the gunpods if you'd like for a total of 8x .50cals but I prefer having the flight performance.
