At Northern Energy we do our very best to meet all of our customer’s needs.

Throughout the year we promise to have your fuel delivered to you within five working days. Our operations team meticulously plan truck delivery routes every day to get the highest efficiency from our fleet which in turn keeps heating oil and LPG prices down.

However, even with the best of intentions we simply can’t plan for severe weather conditions. We know from our long history in the business that a lot of customers will delay purchasing their home fuel towards Christmas and leave ordering until they really need it. We would urge those customers to put buying their heating oil or getting an LPG top up higher on their priority lists.

By purchasing your heating oil now, you may benefit from a lower price (PPL) as oil prices can rise along with demand. We will be able to agree a delivery slot that suits you and will cut out the risk of our trucks struggling to reach you in severe weather.

Many of our customers live in rural properties, which can become difficult to reach during severe weather in our 26 tonne – top heavy wagons. Although our drivers do everything they can to get to you, sometimes the weather can make this impossible. We have a backup plan to reach our most remote and vulnerable oil customers in snow and ice, which is our specially prepared 4X4 delivery vehicle. This vehicle is capable of making 1-2 deliveries at a time.

Our message to customers is clear, check your tank today and put winter fuel plans in place as soon as possible.

We pride ourselves on the commitment of our staff over the winter months. Our drivers work tirelessly over Christmas through some tricky situations to get much needed fuel delivered and our office staff are there to help with enquiries every day apart from the bank holidays.
