One legal analyst says the uMkhonto weSizwe Party will have serious difficulty proving its claim that the May 29 elections were rigged.
Reitumetse Phiri says despite the consistent and passionate declaration by the MK Party that the recently held elections were not free and fair, the claim lacks evidence.
The Party contends that over 9.3 million votes were unaccounted for.
However, the IEC says the MK party misrepresented the actual election data and results - and asked the court to dismiss the application with costs.
Phiri says the legal challenge is unlikely to succeed.
