Best Time to Visit Mt Hotham

Peak ski season at Mt Hotham is between July and August when the mountain receives most of its snowfall, and it can get quite busy during the peak snow season. That's why a big tip from us at Auski is to be an early bird!

Is it hard to drive to Mount Hotham?
In foggy or blizzard conditions the drive can be very challenging, even for those with lots of mountain driving experience. The other route to drive to Hotham is via the Princes Highway to Bairnsdale and then via Omeo and Dinner Plain. The drive time is about 5.5 hours.
