Operation Joint Warrior 17-1 RAF Lossiemouth [4K/UHD]

Friday 31st March 2017 saw the curtain come down on XV Squadron at RAF Lossiemouth. It was also the end of the first week of Operation Joint Warrior 2017-1. We headed up from the central belt but were too late to catch Typhoon mission departing at 09:45 as predicted by our man in the know. We stopped at the top of the road down to 05 and caught them from there. The runaway changed to 23 straight after and we got a Kingair landing and a Cobham Falcon taking off from the 10 spot. Then up to the 23 end for the Marham Typhoon airfield attack. Firstly though the 4 JW Typhoons recovered. Later on we have the P8 Poseidon swapover, old one departing , new one arriving. A highlight was the afternoon JW typhoon 4 ship departure where they all did performance takeoffs thanks to a special request from our man on the inside. Finally round to the 202 bit for these Typhoons recovering and 3 of the 4 Marham Tornados departing. A grand day out!
