Complete Recipe:

Ingredients:

For Dough:

1cup all-purpose flour

1 Tbsp instant yeast

1 tsp sugar

½ tsp salt

2 tbsp oil or melted butter

Warm milk (as needed to knead dough, approx ¾ cup)


For Chicken Filling:

250 gm boneless chicken

1 tbsp oil

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 tbsp chili sauce

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp paprika or red chili flakes

Salt to taste

1/2Tsp tandoori masala

2Tbsp yogurt

Optional: shredded cheese


Toppings:

Sesame seeds

Black seeds (kalonji)

Thin slices of capsicum and Tomato 🍅


Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dough:

In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Add oil and mix well.

Gradually add warm milk and knead into a soft, smooth dough.

Cover and let rise for 1-1.5 hours or until doubled.



2. Prepare the Filling:

In a bowl add chicken and other spices and merinate for 20 minutes.

Heat a pan add 1 Tbsp oil .

Add merinated chicken and cook for 5 minute.

Cook for 5 minutes until well combined and slightly dry.

Add red and green bell pepper and cabbage 🥬.

Let it cool. Add cheese if desired.



3. Assemble Buns:

Divide dough into equal portions.

Roll each into a rectangle or square.

Place filling in the center and fold like a sandwich.

Arrange on a greased plate or pan. Garnish with sliced chilies, bell peppers, sesame, and black seeds.



4. Cook Without Oven:

Heat a large pan or pot on low flame for 10 minutes with a stand or salt base.

Place the plate of buns inside, cover with a tight lid.

Cook on low flame for 30-35 minutes until buns are fluffy and cooked through (top can be brushed with butter or milk for shine).



5. Serve warm with ketchup or garlic dip!
