Got this 17’ Little Giant Titan X multi-position ladder off NextDoor with Airdeck and work platform for $100. Never used. The seller said it was too heavy. I think it weighs about 35lbs but the versatility of the Little Giant in use on stairs and getting close to walls is unparalleled. The AirDeck can hold a gallon of paint and assorted tools you may need at height. Plus it offers a bar to hold onto so you feel safe working on a ladder. You have to be meticulously safe when extending it and make sure everything is securely locked before climbing, and be extra careful lowering the sections as once you release the side locks it will slide and maybe catch your hand or fingers. Little Giants are the best. The 17' is plenty tall enough and secure ANSI Type I 250 lb. rating.
