On 1 November 2023, CTBUH Sydney had an end-of-the-year event, "From Anthills to Labyrinths: Design Insights for a Zero Carbon Future," to reflect on the CTBUH 2023 International Conference and celebrate another successful year in nature, urban habitat, and tall building design. 2023 Fazlur R. Khan Lifetime Award recipient and Director of Atelier Ten, Patrick Bellow, gave a presentation. This was followed by a panel discussion with Bellow, Jennifer Elias, Atlier Ten, Jesse McNicoll, City of Sydney, and Philip Oldfield, UNSW, with Helen Lochhead as the moderator.
