well, when you C6 him you won't really need to worry about his ER. This is best when Xingqiu is on the field.

because first: you should use your E skill after using ur burst not the other way around for a better dmg because of his constellation and also gives around 2/5 ER of his ULT

second: his C6 generates 3 particles whenever ur rain swords hits the enemy, and if your every atk hits the enemy then it's a guaranteed full ER for your burst just like in the video, if not then by that time your E skill's cooldown is already done and you can just reuse it again or switch to another character's E skill then switch to Xingqiu again for him to gather those energy particles.

his C6 is best for bosses/tanky enemies because you can spam ur rain swords on them and as long as your using Xingqiu as your dps then your ER is guaranteed to be full right before your Burst cooldown is done counting.
