Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, was a second-generation cat burglar who mastered both the tricks of her larcenous trade and the ability to bring her adversaries bad luck. After a tangle with Spider-Man, Black Cat turned her back on crime and became the wall-crawler's partner and girlfriend, until her tendency to stray across the line of morality forced Spidey to sever their relationship.
