Adjusting Your Office Chair Lumbar Support - Ergonomic Office Seat Adjustment Manual

Описание к видео Adjusting Your Office Chair Lumbar Support - Ergonomic Office Seat Adjustment Manual

How you adjust your office chair lumbar support can save (or kill) your back.

The lumbar support is the lowest part on your ergonomic office seat's backrest. It will help you sit properly and avoid slouching... at least, if it is well adjusted!

The purpose of the lumbar cushion is to hold the pelvis at belt level. Contrary to a common belief, it is not meant to hold the lower back!

Here is a short adjustment manual for the lumbar support:
if the chair lumbar support is too low, you will slouch and there is a bigger risk of disc hernia
if it is too high, you increase the lumbar lordosis, which feeds back pain, anterior pelvic tilt (APT), back muscles tension and pressure on the intervertebral cartilage, ultimately accelerating the pace and severity of lumbar osteoarthritis.

Whether you are working from home or working from the office, you need a great lumbar support to protect your spine and enjoy a good sitting posture!

This is valid at work, but also when you drive your car! ---

Pain in the back, shoulder, arms or any other musculoskeletal pain should not govern your life.

A lot of the pain you feel is caused or aggravated by wrong posture, poor ergonomics and a lack of specific exercises for your muscles and joints. Giving you the tools to resolve these issues is the reason why I created this self care channel.
