Beyond the Sun review - I am over the moon with this game!

Check out my honest and subjective review of Beyond the Sun - a tech tree, action drafting, area control space game.

Beyond the Sun is a 2-4 player game from Rio Grande Games in which players build a branching tech tree together, access different technologies on that tree and use them to build colonies on planets and ultimately conquer them. Multiple paths to victory, asymmetric factions and an original dice resource mechanic make this game a stand-out among many others on my shelf. How much do I like it, in fact? Rio Grande Games is saying that the first expansion for this game - Leaders of the New Dawn is coming out this year (2023) so stay tuned!
