As LinkedIn continues to grow, the ability to scale our data center network has become a necessity. Over the years, it became evident that we needed to provision and build networks not only as quickly as possible, but also with the most simple and minimalistic approaches possible. In addition to our three core principles of “openness, independence and simplicity” that have guided our infrastructure design and strategy, we also realized the need to incorporate “Programmability.” In this talk, attendees will learn about the LinkedIn network journey as well as details on the company’s self-healing infrastructure and how that equates to having an agile network growth strategy.
