Martin Creek Lake State Park - Texas

Our first stop on our 12 day anniversary trip through East Texas! We hit 4 parks on our trip all together back in October. This trip as a whole was unforgettable! Martin Creek Lake State Park has all of that East Texas charm. Tall pine trees, thick forest and a beautiful lake. Our campsite was top notch! Overlooking the lake with an access point for our kayaks. The hiking trails were on the shorter side but they were beautiful! Only complaint we had was the power plant right across the lake from our campsites. Sadly, you can't miss it... Which you'll see me talk about in the video.
