This video was recorded my second semester of my P1 year over the drug Atorvastatin, brand name Lipitor. While I feel my communication and use of the SOLER technique is pretty good, I am guilty of overusing filler words like "uhm" and feel like I may have fidgeted a bit too much. It is a learning process, indeed. For the record, the patient (and my wife) brought up "dark urine" at the end of the video... we had many rehearsals prior to this video being recorded and somehow I didn't bring that up in this cut but she remembered from the previous and brought it up. Dark urine is a sign of rhabdomyolysis which is a rare, but serious, side effect of taking Atorvastatin. It stems from excessive muscle breakdown for which I described the signs of in this video.
