Chauhan started her acting career into television in 2007 with Ragini Ranvir Rajvansh in the show Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai.
In 2009, Parul participated in the season 3 of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
In 2010 she played the role of Surbhi Abhay Suryavanshi in Rishton Se Badi Pratha.
In 2015 she played the role of Aarti Singh in Colors TV's serial Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi.
After that Parul appeared in Star Plus serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where she played the role of Suvarna Goenka.
