If you have an ATX 3.0 power supply unit (PSU) that comes with a 12vhpwr cable, do you need to scrap that and instead buy a "12vh-2x6" cable? And why are these "2x6" cables seemingly hard to buy?

Well I answer these questions and more in this video, so that you can be as safe as possible with your NVIDIA GPUs and ATX 3.0 or ATX 3.1 power set-up.

Apparently some newer NVIDIA cards still use the old 12vhpwr cable - https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-compo...

But in general, if you buy a brand new, mainstream NVIDIA card nowadays, it should be fine.
