Evie Sands

Evie Sands is an American singer, songwriter and musician. She experienced a fashionable, UK-led surge in cult popularity beginning in the 1990s and returned to live performance in mid-1998. Sands continues to write and perform. (wiki/Evie_Sands)

Evie Sands was the first to record the Chip Taylor tune (Just Call Me) "Angel In The Morning" in 1967. Unfortunately for her, the company went bust a couple of weeks later, and the Merrilee Rush version was the one that got all the attention.
