In this video I teach a quick demonstration on how to braid a Silk Ti leaf Tahitian Costume Hip belt. Silk Ti leaves are used by dancers that live in areas where Ti leaf is not easily accessible like the mainland for shows, performances or Lū'au dancers. (Please note in Tahitian Dance competitions ti leaves should always be fresh and not artificial)
