Artist Biography: THE SIXTH CHAMBER is a library in hell where all the world’s darkest secrets are kept in neatly arranged volumes on shelves. Band leader Rahne Pistor came up with the concept in 2001 inspired by the writings of 18th century mystic William Blake. Since that time the band has accumulated a long and storied recording legacy with gothic, metal, experimental, blues, psychedelic, fantasy/horror soundtrack and other musical and poetic influences evident in their sound. Themes generally focus on the mythic, mystic and phantasmic.

About the Video: Mythical Los Angeles gothic doom proto-metal mysterians The Sixth Chamber have completed a new music video nightmare trip - shot in the vast, tortured wastelands of Death Valley, California. Part Lovecraft and part Pasolini, the sonic and visual dream quest stars gothic metal bellydance YouTube sensation Mahafsoun as well as Stanton Lavey (grandson of Church of Satan founder/Satanic Bible author Anton Lavey) who aptly plays the role of a crude, heathen elder god.

SYNOPSIS: An entheogenic seeker and sorcerer (Rahne Pistor) stalks an irresistible will-o’-the-wisp sorceress (Mahafsoun) through the vast tortured waste far beyond the waking world toward the marvelous sunset city. En route of his dream quest he encounters the creeper from the great beyond and other grim perils. What unspeakable horrors lie at the prehistoric stone monastery in the dominion of the crude and mischievous demon sultan Azathoth (Stanton LaVey), that evil devil? Who is left to trust? Do the seeker's true enemies lie within? Is reaching the wondrous Kadath in all its glory worth the wholesale scourging of his soul?
