Sinclair QL ELITE 3D demo 1991

Описание к видео Sinclair QL ELITE 3D demo 1991

This video shows the 1991 ELITE 3D vector graphic demo (not a game) by Dave "Halls" Barker running on a 1984 Sinclair QL Professional Computer with fitted 1993 Miracle Super Gold Card (32-bit Motorola 68020 CPU, 4MB RAM).

Way back in the early 1990 Dave was supported by his friends Robert John Nash and Mark Handley to create those awesome demos.

Even Sir Clive Sinclair wanted the QL to be a serious business machine, the QL proves to be capable of doing fast and flickerfree 3D graphics.

It's Simon N Goodwin operating the QL in this video.

Filmed in HD using my Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ7. Filmed on Nov 1st 2009 at the international "QL and Mac are 25" show in Lucerne Switzerland.

The original Elite game was written and developed by David Braben and Ian Bell in 1984.
