Archaeologists Uncover An Entire Medieval Village Killed By The Plague

Archaeologists uncovered a mass grave near Thornton Abbey in North Lincolnshire containing the remains of 48 individuals, including adults and children. DNA analysis confirmed the cause of death as the Black Death, marking the first plague pit found in the British countryside.
