little bit about me, I was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder/ Asperger's syndrome at 9 years old. I have kept my diagnosis a secret for the majority of my teenage years. I am 17 years old now and have decided to use YouTube as a platform to help autistic people like myself parents of autistic children, as both me and my mum have struggled with the lack of help and resources available after the diagnosis.
I also wish to spread more female representation of people on the spectrum as there is a huge gap in the media which needs to be addressed, as well as the true reality's of being on the autism spectrum not just the stereotypical traits presented in the media.
my hope is to use this channel as a resource to help parents, but to also to share what it is really like living
as a autistic girl in the 21st century.
