The kitchen digital thermometer from LiDiwee has a stainless-steel probe resistant to temperatures up to 250oC. This probe is placed in the meat/fish that needs to be cooked in the oven and monitored outside by the thermometer. The probe is safe to use with food since it does not leave a metallic taste. It is also resistant and waterproof. The thermometer is digital and operated via touch screen. The screen can be lit by a back light making it easier to see the settings even in the dark. The thermometer works with 2AAA batteries. There are two buttons at the back of the thermometer. One is a power button and the other one can choose the temperature to cook set in the position “Cook” and the time for cooking either according to type of meat and taste or manual according to one’s preference by selecting position “Timer”. The temperature can be chosen either in Celsius or Fahrenheit and varies between 0oC to 250oC. It is possible to choose the type of meet cooked and also 4 cooking preferences according to taste: Well, Medium, Med Rare and Rare. The time goes up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds. When the alarm beeps it means the food is done. The thermometer is lightweight and has two magnets on the back to fix it to the fridge or other appliances. This food digital thermometer is very useful for roasting, grilling, BBQ, baking making sure that the food is properly done according to taste.
