Doctors should begin prescribing exercise for older adults, a new study has found.

The review paper in the Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ) suggests that staying active into one’s golden years can improve cognition, mental health and quality of life – and lower the risk for more than 30 chronic diseases associated with old age.

As Global’s Katherine Ward reports, the data shows it's never too late to get moving.
