In this video, we head to Derwentwater which lies immediately south of the Lake District town of Keswick. We went to the Lake District back in September, and I recently found this footage lying away on an SD card, so I decided to make this short cinematic. Hope you enjoy!

Derwentwater measures 3 miles long and 1 mile wide, and has several islands within the lake. One of the islands is inhabited and is leased by the National Trust. Derwentwater also gets its name from the Celtic words for 'Clear Water'

The shores of Derwentwater also contains arguably one of the most scenic spot in England. It's called Friars crag which overlooks the lake and one of its islands, called St. Herbert's island.
