Описание к видео Pyro Mobility Repertoire - koth_lakeside_final

For more information on some of the jumps, see the notes in the Description.

Obviously there isn't much to show around the capture point on Lakeside, but the rest of the map has a good amount of jumps to offer, especially around the sniper deck area. Sadly, many good perches are too high to reach as Pyro, but I might go over these in another video. Also, Seagulls.

Notes:

-The purple surfaces you'll see in this video are called clip brushes. They are basically invisible walls. As a player you cannot go through them. To be able to see the clip brushes, type "r_drawclipbrushes 2" in your console (sv_cheats need to be on). -0:33 This clip brush is there to prevent you from getting stuck between the brick wall and the wooden beam. Floating Pyro.
-1:18 The crate on RED side is buried just deep enough in the sand to allow you to jump on top of it. Sadly, the crate on BLU side is out of reach from the ground.
-1:56 By jumping form that buried barrel, you have enough height to reach this hiding spot. The jump is a bit tricky though. The barrel isn't there on RED side though, making it BLU side only. However, the jump is easy to make on both side with the Detonator.
-2:09 Another tight jump with the Scorch Shot, but really easy with the Detonator.
-2:12 On the other side of the wood panel, there is a small ledge you can stand on. Nice hiding spot.
-3:24 On BLU side, you do some static surfing to try to stay in place, but there's nowhere to stand like on RED side. Not really useful though.
-3:31 There's a clip brush above that doorway to prevent you from standing there, but if you approach it the right way you can pixel walk on top of the clip brush.
-3:37 It's safer to jump towards this corner, because there is a slanted clip brush that might push you up a little bit if you don't do an optimal jump. Still a tricky jump. Jumping from the right side rocks would be a lot safer.
-3:45 and 3:52 More pixel walk.
-4:13 This kind of environment would normally be great for self-detonation. It can be tricky to surface jump from railings. However you won't get as much height if you self-det, making it harder to reach the clip brushes.
-4:34 This corner is the best place to jump from the ground to batts on BLU side. On RED side, the corner on the other side of that little deck works the best. This has to do with how the prop is made: you can land on the diagonal beam, but only on one side of the prop.
-5:00 Somewhere above the cave exit, there is one lonely pixel on which you can stand. Good luck finding it.

The point of the Pyro Mobility Repertoire videos is to show what you can do, mobilitywise, as pyro in stock and competitive maps. This means regular, powerjack, scorch shot and detonator jumps.
