Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav met with PSP chief Shivpal Yadav and touched his feet while campaigning for Mainpuri by elections. The by-election to the seat was necessitated by the demise of SP patron Mulayam Singh Yadav. The by- poll is scheduled to take place on Dec 5, and the result will be announced on Dec 8.
