About Himroo
The word "Himroo" originated from Persian word Hum-Ruh which means something that is close to your soul.
Himroo is a replication of Kum-Khwab, which means was woven with pure golden and silver threads in olden days and was meant for the royal families.

The Complicated method of Himroo-Weaving involves intermeshing of various threads made from Gold Silver and cotton.

It is a task of highly talented and skilled workers on the handlooms.

Himroo uses Persian designs, and is very characteristic and distinctive in appearance with decorated with figurative motifs.

The designs are geometrical and floral.

The products of Himroo, consist of Sarees, Bed Covers and other fancy items such as kerchiefs and tunics.

About Paithani
Paithani is a variety of sari, named after the Paithan town in Aurangabad-Maharashtra state,

Woven by hand. Made by very fine silk, and considered as one of the richest sarees in the world.

Paithani sarees dates back to times as early as the Rigveda.

In the 18th Century the Patithani thrived under the patronage of the Peshwas.

It is believed that Madhavrao Peshwa Had a special love for Paithani textiles.
