Holy sh*t!
This is one of the most insane runs i've ever done. it happened yesterday and I still can't quite believe it.

- To give you some context:
A sector run is where you split a map up into segments, and try to drive them as well as you can, then add them all together and demonstrate what a close to theoretically perfect run on the track would look like.
Igntul did this on CameLot in 2013, and drove a 6:44 (link to the run:    • Trackmania - Sector run on CameLot  )
The thing that's so crazy to me, is that I beat the 2013 theoretically perfect run in a SINGLE SEGMENT.
That means, just 5 years ago, this run was outside the realm of possibility. You wouldn't be able to even concieve of this run being possible. And now it's real, on tmx, as the actual wr? Crazy.

- About the run:
It's hard for me to describe how hard this map is to hunt. Half of the checkpoints are a coinflip, 50/50 if you get it or restart. Which makes grinding for the one run where the stars allign, and every checkpoint works , really quite painful.
But on this run, it worked. Everything worked.

The main point in the run that separates this run from any other is that I decided to go for the CP5 Cut @3:15 . It saves ~15 seconds over normal way, and is really hard. You need an exact amount of speed, and the correct angle to get a bounce that reaches the cp.

Adding this to the run, I now ended up with 2h sessions where I couldn't get past CP5, and I only TWICE ever oneshot this cp. One of them being in this run!

The other crucial point in the run is the infamous 40sec cut, at the end of the map (@ 6:05). Trust me when i say this, it's fuckin hard. One thing is being able to hit it in practice, but it's a whole different story to get it when you know it counts, when you know you're on THE run.

Just the thought of having oneshot both those hardcuts in a run on good pace makes me giggle, it's really not supposed to happen. But here it is, and it's real. Wow.

The staircase at 6:50 is probably the most nervous i've ever been in a run, but I barely managed to get up, and clutch it out in the end.

- Some final thoughts:
I think as we see the limits we set in the past being destroyed, there's really no telling what might happen to our current limits in the future. Hopefully they will be proven just as wrong as the ones we're breaking now.
Perhaps even this record :)

If you've read this far, thank you! Have a nice day :)
