LOS ANGELES -- Building off of the iconic transformation of Los Angeles International Airport's (LAX) Tom Bradley International Terminal, Westfield today unveiled its design vision for the redevelopment of LAX's Terminal 6, inspired by Los Angeles' famed Sunset Boulevard. With its U.S. headquarters located in Los Angeles, the global developer is transforming the traveler experience through luxury retail, sophisticated dining, and world-class design at LAX's Terminals 1, 2, 3, 6 and Tom Bradley International Terminal.

Coined "The Boulevard," Westfield's design vision seeks to unify the three disjointed buildings that comprise the current Terminal 6 into an integrated, dynamic whole -- much like the collection of diverse neighborhoods that are woven together by Sunset Boulevard. Bold architectural lighting, exciting digital technologies, and a cohesive use of materials will create a relaxing yet dramatic environment aimed at replicating the experience of traveling from downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Coast Highway. The meandering curves in Bel Air and Brentwood inspired the retail and dining districts, while a calm glowing bar becomes the ultimate destination to relax or recharge before a flight.
